Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, accurately take and serve orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills, food industry knowledge, and a passion for hospitality. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. The Server will be responsible for managing multiple tables, handling food and beverage service, and maintaining high standards of sanitation, cleaning, washing and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Follow all sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures consistently
Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accuracy
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food preparation or kitchen support is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
