The primary purpose of the snow removal operators is to clear the resorts infrastructure to ensure that snow events do not affect both the internal and external guests.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

Removing snow in Village, Blue Mountain Resort, Resort Affiliated and Contracted properties utilizing either shovels and/or snow blowers
Applying Ice Melt and/or sand as required
Monitoring material levels in SOS Bins
Conducting ice patrols and assessing general hazards to ensure the safety of our guests and employees
Recording detailed notes on activities and material applications throughout shift
Hand cleaning as necessary
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Should enjoy working outdoors
Availability for early morning start and a willingness to work additional hours and shifts as needed
Must be physically fit - able to lift and carry heavy materials and perform repetitive tasks involving shoveling, bending, stretching, walking and kneeling
Must be able to operate a range of equipment from simple handheld tools to snow blowers
Experience in minor maintenance and repair of equipment an asset
Must be safety conscious and wear required safety equipment when on the job
Experience in snow removal an asset
Knowledge of resort an asset
