Peace River is a stable, heavy cold-flow, growth-oriented asset. Obsidian Energy operates a contiguous
and extensive acreage, with substantial resources in place, in the heart of the Peace River Oil Sands region.

The Role
Maintenance Planner / Scheduler
Full Time
Location: Peace River, Alberta
Posting Close Date: October 2, 2026
Key Responsibilities
Duties include the following, but are not limited to:
- Plan, coordinate and supervise daily activity of the maintenance trades in the assigned area;
- Ensure the effective use of all contract personnel to minimize down time and costs;
- Receive all work requests and assign tasks as required; follow up on completed work to ensure
quality of workmanship and materials;
- Plan and coordinate regular scheduled preventive and corrective work;
- Plan and execute small projects while interfacing with engineering and operations and any technical
resource or expertise;
- Provide guidance and support to both operations and contract maintenance to ensure regulatory
requirements are met;
- Ensure that repeat problems are identified, and recommendations are made to reduce or eliminate
the root cause; recommend the use of new technology when deemed advantageous;
- Participate in turnaround planning and reviews including optimization projects and MOCs;
