Overview
Penn Automotive is a family owned and operated business serving our customers since 1965. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Licensed Automotive Technician or Truck and Coach Technician (or 3rd Year Apprentice)
Wages will be commensurate with skills and experience. Penn offers a competitive wage package including paid time off and healthcare spending account.
Duties
· Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and performing repairs including drivability, suspensions, alignments, steering, heating and air conditioning, basic and ABS brakes and exhaust systems, etc.
· Perform safety inspection and annual inspections on a variety of vehicles and trailers
· Assemble and disassemble vehicle components
· Remove, install, repair, rotate and balance tires
· Road testing vehicles, move vehicles safely between job and work area
· Maintains a clean and organized work environment
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Responsible as an employee for health and safety
Requirements
· 310S or 310T Technician License or 3rd year apprentice.
· Strong mechanical, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
· Valid driver’s license (minimum G2)
· Excellent communication skills and good attention to detail
· Ability to handle heavy lifting and other physical demands of the job
· Supply your own tools and work boots
· Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willing to work as part of a team
