Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, heavy equipment operation, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with warehouse management systems to ensure efficient and safe handling of goods. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently
- Perform order picking, packaging, and fulfillment to meet customer requirements accurately and on time
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and managing inventory documentation using systems like AS400 or similar Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks while maintaining proper safety protocols
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance or report repairs needed
- Manage inventory levels through accurate stock counting and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations in a manufacturing or distribution setting
Qualifications
- Proven warehouse experience with familiarity in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and inventory management
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, or other heavy machinery
- Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing or construction environments is preferred
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar platforms
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse activities
- Prior experience with order picker machines, packaging processes, and load & unload operations is advantageous
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
