As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Auditor to join our Assurance Team. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and perform audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with ASPE and ASNPO
- Prepare audit working papers and supporting documentation
- Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement
- Perform analytical procedures and substantive testing
- Prepare adjusting journal entries
- Prepare corporate and personal income tax working papers
- Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting and audit matters
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, where appropriate
- Assist partners with engagement planning and client advisory services
- Ensure engagements are completed accurately and on schedule
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related discipline
- CPA PEP enrollment or CPA designation is preferred
- Completion of CPA assurance modules is considered an asset
Experience Requirements
We are seeking candidates who have:
- Minimum 2 years of recent full-time experience in a Canadian public accounting firm
- Experience performing audit and review engagements
- Experience preparing financial statements
- Experience working with owner-managed businesses, not-for-profit organizations, or private enterprises
- Experience working under Canadian Accounting Standards (ASPE and/or ASNPO)
- Strong understanding of Canadian auditing standards
Candidates from Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, BDO, MNP, Grant Thornton, Baker Tilly, RSM, Crowe, and other public accounting firms are encouraged to apply.

- TaxPrep or equivalent tax software
Knowledge of any of the following is considered an asset:
