Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Framer's Helper to assist with residential and commercial framing projects. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and carpentry. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, physically capable of heavy lifting, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Prior construction experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Assist framers with measuring, cutting, and assembling framing materials according to blueprints and schematics
- Handle hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and effectively
- Support with concrete forming, concrete finishing, and installation of siding or restoration projects as needed
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary under supervision
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood, concrete forms, and siding components
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, or carpentry concepts is preferred but not required
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, woodworking, or concrete forming is advantageous
- Construction experience or background in restoration, siding, or welding is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety procedures
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members
- Reliable transportation and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: $19.70-$39.41 per hour
