Davco Power Systems, a leader in Commercial electrical projects and services, is actively seeking a skilled ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience estimating projects in Accubid and Excel-based spreadsheets and at least 2 years of estimating experience in the electrical industry. RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for receiving requests for quotations (RFQ) and reviewing the scope of work to understand and identify the client’s needs. The Estimator will work with the team to produce clarifications through email and pre-bid meetings, analyze the RFQ and prepare the data to respond to the client's needs by submitting a formal proposal outlining the cost, schedule and offering.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Journeyman Electrician Certification from an accredited Canadian Institution
- Minimum 2 years of Electrical Estimating experience in a previous role
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of current Codes, Standards and Technical Requirements
- Experience in client communication and a strong understanding of Electrical Field Construction and other Electrical Projects
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written/oral communication skills
- Excellent leadership, organizational, conflict resolution, time management, and multi-tasking abilities
