Insulated Aluminum Panel Line Operator
We are seeking a reliable, mechanically capable individual to operate and oversee our insulated aluminum panel manufacturing line. This role is responsible for producing high‑quality structural panels used in sunrooms, patio covers, and related building products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the insulated aluminum panel production line, including setup, calibration, and daily start‑up/shut‑down procedures.
- Monitor lamination, adhesive application, foam core alignment, and aluminum skin feed to ensure consistent panel quality.
- Perform in‑process quality checks: dimensions, adhesion, surface finish, and structural integrity.
- Load and handle raw materials (aluminum coil, foam cores, adhesives) safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot machine issues, adjust settings, and minimize downtime.
- Conduct basic maintenance: cleaning rollers, checking adhesive systems, inspecting blades, and reporting mechanical concerns.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE use, and safe material handling.
- Keep production area clean, organized, and compliant with manufacturing standards.
- Record production data, material usage, and quality results.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or machine operation.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn specialized equipment.
- Ability to read measurements accurately (tape measure, calipers).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with aluminum fabrication, lamination lines, or insulated panel production.
- Forklift or material‑handling experience.
- Knowledge of adhesives, foam cores, or continuous lamination processes.
Work Environment
- Fast‑paced production environment.
- Exposure to adhesives, moving machinery, and aluminum materials.
- Requires consistent adherence to safety procedures.
