Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled bartender to join our small team at Perch. We're a tasting menu only restaurant that offers a strong bar program. We focus on wild harvested and Canadian ingredients; therefore we don't use citrus on our bar, but do use verjus for acidity.
Responsibilities:
- Prep all ingredients for drinks, and execute during service
- Take charge in our cocktail program
- Be part of the creative team behind creating our non-alcoholic (teas/ferments/juices) and our regular (cocktails/wine/sake/beer) beverage pairings
- Help set up the dining room before service
- Talk with guests and run drinks/food to tables
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of spirits, cocktails and wine is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have Smart Serve
- Fluent in English is needed and French is a strong asset
