Job Title: Fire Truck Electrical Assembler

We seek a dedicated and skilled Automotive Electrical Technician to join our team and contribute to our tradition of excellence.
Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Automotive Electrical Technician with a strong background in installing, repairing, and overhauling fire truck electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with commercial chassis. This position requires someone detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working efficiently within tight time guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform work on custom fire trucks with efficiency and accuracy, in line with manufacturer, dealership, and factory standards.
- Diagnose electrical system malfunctions.
- Install wiring for chassis, pumps, generators, HVAC, lighting, and other fire truck-specific components.
- Operate all tools and equipment safely.
- Attend manufacturer-sponsored product training as required.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma and 2 years of experience, or a certificate from a college or technical school.
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics and manufacturer component literature.
- Proficiency in completing reporting paperwork for each job.
- Strong understanding of safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Assets:
- Electrical/Electronic Systems Certification for Auto/Light Truck.
- Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair.
- Electrical/Electronic Systems Certification for Medium/Heavy Truck.
- Electrical/Electronic Systems Certification for various manufacturers.
- AutoCAD / Inventor
