Combustion Solutions Inc. is an all-in-one fabrication shop located in Squamish (a stunning location known for its biking/climbing/hiking) looking to add structural and pressure welders (apprentices also welcome to apply) to our team of multi-talented tradespeople.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
> Schedule: Full time, 4 x 10 hr days
> Wage: $27 – $65 per hour, determined by experience and tickets
> Benefits: Extended Health, Dental Care, Vision

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
> CWB FCAW all position for structural welders with the addition of TSBC level A for pressure welder
> Proven welding experience; journeymen welders are ideal
> Strong mechanical knowledge related to rigging, machining, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and assembly processes
> Familiarity with welding standards and ability to pass necessary certifications or assessments
> Math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication processes
> Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
> Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment
> Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine welding specifications and assembly procedures
> Perform FCAW, SMAW and TIG welding on various structural steel components according to detailed blueprints and schematics
> Communicate effectively with team and management
> Use hand tools, power tools and other equipment to fit
