Job Overview
Metrocan Distribution Corp is a growing construction materials supplier. We are hiring an Operations & Logistics Manager to take full responsibility for our warehouse, deliveries, and crew.
This is a hands-on role. You will manage staff and work in the warehouse when needed. Forklift operation and physical warehouse work are required.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse staff and delivery drivers
- Assign daily tasks and oversee execution
- Plan and schedule deliveries (routes, trucks, drivers)
- Coordinate crane and jobsite deliveries
- Operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading as required
- Ensure accurate picking, loading, and securing of materials
- Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse/yard
- Reduce errors, damage, and re-deliveries
- Hold staff accountable for performance and attendance
- Communicate daily issues and solutions to management
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management
- Construction materials, lumber, steel, drywall, or similar industry experience required
- Forklift experience required (certification an asset)
- Comfortable with physical warehouse work when needed
- Proven experience managing crews and drivers
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Experience:
