About the Job:

In this full-time role, you will be creating microfluidic components in the lab, which will be used in the assembly of our SPR products. You’ll also be contributing to our SPR sensor fabrication and characterization. We’re a fast-growing company, so this could be the start of an exciting career in the biotech field!
What you'll do:
Create the most important microfluidic component in our SPR instrument using our proprietary process.
Use a laboratory oven, scales, vacuum chamber, plasma chamber, simple robotics and other equipment.
Prepare chemical solutions, buffers and reagents following an SOP.
Follow quality control protocols to ensure quality standards are met, and constantly strive to improve yield.
Maintain and clean lab equipment.
Track quality and inventory data.
Maintain an organized workspace.
High attention to detail.
Able to stay highly focused when following a lab SOP.
Fine motor skills for precision work.
Familiar with basic laboratory practices and WHMIS.
Looking to grow your career in Biotech.
Graduated with a diploma or degree in biotechnology, science, engineering, or another technical program.
2-5 years experience in a lab environment.
