Landscape Carpentry Crew Member
Full-Time | On-Site | Outdoor Construction Team
Hillside Landscape Carpentry is hiring a hands-on, hardworking Crew Member to help build the decks, pergolas, fences, and outdoor structures our clients love. You'll work alongside a Crew Leader and a close-knit team, learning the trade on real job sites while taking pride in doing quality work the right way.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build with purpose: Help build decks, pavilions, pergolas, fences, railings, and other outdoor wood and composite structures — measuring, cutting, fastening, assembling, and finishing to drawings and instructions.
- Support the site: Keep job sites running smoothly by loading, unloading, organizing, and maintaining tools, materials, and equipment.
- Stay productive: Follow daily work plans, complete tasks on schedule, and adapt when priorities shift.
- Maintain the standard: Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe throughout the day.
- Deliver quality: Follow best practices for outdoor carpentry, ask questions when unsure, and take feedback constructively to keep improving.
- Work safely: Wear required PPE, use tools properly, follow all safety instructions, and report hazards or issues immediately.
- Be a teammate: Communicate clearly with your Crew Leader and teammates, and represent Hillside professionally on job sites and with clients.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools safely.
- Able to follow instructions and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physical strength, stamina, and strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in carpentry, construction, or landscaping is an asset, but not always required.
- A positive attitude, respect for teammates, and a genuine commitment to safety and quality.
