Job Summary
We are seeking a commercial glazier door specialists to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, aluminum frames and glass in various structures, as well as installing aluminum glazed doors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A background in glazing or construction is required.
Responsibilities
- Complete tasks assigned by project managers/ team leaders.
- Install glass panels in windows, doors, and other structures according to specifications.
- Repair or replace broken glass in existing installations.
- Apply caulking to seal joints and prevent leaks.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols while on the job site.
- Conduct hazard assessments and implement safety controls where necessary.
- install all window framing materials according to specifications.
- Ensure work it completed to the highest standard of quality.
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to glazing work.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Experience with curtainwall and aluminum framing installation.
- Knowledge of construction standard practices.
- Experience operating equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts.
- implementation of Safe work practices and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Requirements:
- Must be able to collaborate and work with others, as well as independently.
- Must provide own hand tools.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills
- Knowledge of curtainwall glazing systems and glazed aluminum Doors
- Fall arrest, boom & scissor lift , and WHMIS certifications are essential.
- 2+ years of experience in commercial glass or door installation.
- Familiarity with building blueprints, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to lift 70+lbs.
- Reliable transportation to worksite.

Pay: $26.00-$42.00 per hour
