Currently, we are looking for a Reporting Analyst to join our Business Information Systems team. This team is made up of a squad of mavericks that troubleshoot, support and well…basically keep the company moving forward. Basic Function

The Reporting Analyst will extract & analyze all patient assistance program data within core therapeutic areas and provide value add insight into trends, opportunities/weaknesses and performance to targets and benchmarks for programs; recommendations on efficiencies and new insights. The Reporting Analyst will also provide the same services & insights to Senior Management and internal stakeholders around internal team performance (efficiency & operational excellence), along with benchmarking against critical KPIs. The Reporting Analyst will act as a liaison for communication between the internal/external clients on new requests and asks; clarifying all requirements and outlining the feasibility and timelines of execution.

Nature and Scope

The incumbent will work with internal staff in order to develop and maintain comprehensive reporting for SDM Specialty Health Network Management (internal clients/stakeholders) and external clients as contracts and requirements dictate. The role will be very fluid in terms of stakeholders and deliverables asked to work on, leading to a dynamic and enriching work environment.

What you will do:
Act as a conduit between:
External Clients, Internal Stakeholders, Senior Leadership and the Business Intelligence department to clarify and translate business and or operational requirements into documentation and conceptual report designs

Occasionally Third party vendors and service providers, e.g. IQVIA and SHN

Develop, execute and own analysis work & reports designed to monitor and maximize profitability/operational excellence for various programs and departments at SHN

Deliver said analysis & reports in the most effective way possible for the audience (stakeholders) in question (ie Excel, Qlik BI, SSRS, etc.)

Develop supporting invoice data and queries; occasionally helping develop the invoices themselves

Recommend and facilitate development of new reports (regular & ad-hoc) for key identified stakeholders

Run, validate and review reports, analyze trends, opportunities and weaknesses and summarize for report end users which includes internal employees and clients

Maintain business requirements, functional requirements and technical specification documentation for all reports

Participate Business Intelligence department for audits

Participate in Request for Proposal process related to specific therapeutic area of expertise

Assess impact to reporting and analysis work due to process changes & improvements

Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures

What you will need:
Business/Computer Science/Engineering Degree or equivalent working experience

A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience preferably in a pharmaceutical industry

Strong knowledge and understanding of SQL language is a key skill

Effective organizational, communication and customer relations skills

Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills

Familiarity with CRM platforms (SalesForce, Siebel, PatientConnect, etc.)

Exceptional computer skills (MS Excel and quantitative analysis tools)

Experience with Business Intelligence Platforms (ie Qlik, Tableau, etc.) is a strong asset

Must be able manage time effectively through flexibility & prioritization

Must enjoy working in an environment of fast paced change and ambiguity
