Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, friendly person to join our work family team. This position would be responsible for a number of book-keeping and tax related tasks, as listed below.
Responsibilities
- Review, compare and compile interim financial reports for small to medium sized businesses.
- Prepare year end working papers for the completion of year end financials & tax returns.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Complete full-cycle bookkeeping, as required.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or Accounting Diploma or Certificate from relevant program.
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role within a corporate finance environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Quick-books Desktop and/or online; experience with other accounting tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account analysis processes.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting financial information clearly.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
