We are looking for a detail-oriented Production Worker (Rewind Operator) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, rewinding, and finishing printed labels to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment. The ideal candidate has experience in the label industry, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Position Type: Full-time, Afternoons (2:30pm – 12:30am, Mon - Thurs)
Responsibilities Include:
- Operate rewinding and finishing equipment to inspect and prepare labels for shipment
- Check for print quality, defects, and alignment, ensuring all products meet customer specifications
- Adjust and set up machines for different jobs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment as needed
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Prepare mailing labels and shipping documents using computer software and ensure all orders have been filled correctly
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects
- Comfortable working with machinery and making minor adjustments as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a production environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to repetitively rotate shoulders and arms
- Ability to use computers and apply basic knowledge of computer systems.
