CNC Machinist/Operator/Programmer
Full time – approx. 40 hours/week (M-F 7-3)
We are looking for a CNC machinist to help us machine parts for aluminum doors and frames.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machine and equipment (Emmegi Phantomatic T3A 3 axis CNC)
- Manage tooling and consumable needs
- Establish appropriate machining protocol for each task
- Work with draftspeople to interpret CAD drawings into manufacturing instructions
- Specific tasks involve working with aluminum extrusions to create hardware cutouts for doors and frames
Experience, Qualifications & Skills
- Completion of CNC Machinist training / academic program and/or experience working in a machine shop / manufacturing environment
- 5 years experience with CNC machine operation, programming
- Experience with Emmegi machines is ideal
- Experience in the construction industry, particularly the door and glazing industry is an asset
- Ability to use measuring instruments and hand tools
- Ability to read, understand and interpret technical drawings into CNC machine instructions
- Demonstrated ability to work with CAM software
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu or similar software
- Accuracy, attention to details
- Ability to take the initiative and work autonomously when required
- Good at managing priorities
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, solve difficult problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Exceptional written and verbal proficiency and communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
