Industrial Electrician - Oxford, NS
Our client is looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join their manufacturing operations team. This organization operates multiple food production and agricultural facilities across Atlantic Canada and the United States and is recognized as a leading supplier of frozen food products and agricultural goods throughout North America.
In this role, the successful candidate will support the reliability and performance of industrial equipment within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and industrial equipment within a manufacturing environment
- Install and terminate wiring for machinery and production equipment
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to drawings, specifications, and electrical codes
- Perform electrical testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on production equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and support continuous production
- Identify equipment issues and implement corrective actions to maintain system performance
- Support preventative maintenance programs and ensure electrical systems meet safety requirements
- Mentor and assist apprentices while maintaining industry and workplace standards

Qualifications
- Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification preferred; Construction Electrician certification may also be considered
- 4th-year electrical apprentices are welcome to apply
- Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment is an asset
- Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, and process control systems
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for industrial electrical systems
- Valid driver’s licence
- Able to complete a criminal record check later in the hiring process
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Shift: 12-hour continental rotation shift schedule
