CNC Laser Cutting Operator – Night Shift
Oxytech Industries, a well-established and long-standing steel services provider of high-definition plasma and laser cutting, forming and machining, is currently hiring a skilled CNC Laser Cutting Operator for our night shift (10:30pm - 7:00am). The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' related experience – and will be required to safely operate our CNC laser cutter.

Job Duties:
- Experienced operator with minimum of 3 years' CNC laser cutting table experience
- Minimum 3 years of overhead crane and forklift experience
- Able to read and interpret drawings and load files into the machine and computer
- Identify and understand different grades and gauges of material
- Follow proper procedures for laser cutting to optimize cut quality
- Safely load large sheets of material onto tables, unload parts following cutting
- Clean cut parts with abrasives, grinder and chisels
- Cycling parts through cleaning machine, as required
- Organizing, labelling and putting parts together to be shipped
- Proper monitoring of cutting process to ensure consistent results
- Perform routine maintenance checks as required and instructed to ensure proper machine operation and safety
- Attention to detail and pride in work quality and output along with an ongoing desire for quality improvement
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to multi task under time pressure
- Additional duties as required
- Ability to work as a team or individually, as needed
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements
- Able to move effectively onto or down from plasma tables
- Able to lift weights up to 50lbs
Additional Capabilities (not required, but an asset):
- CNC Plasma Cutting experience
Other Details:
- Shift: Sunday – Thursday morning (10:30pm – 7:00am)
- Potential for overtime (>40 hours at 1.5x pay rate)
- Salary: based on capabilities and experience

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
