DFC currently employs over 25 people, remanufactures 80+ engines a month from our 32,000sqft facility and delivers engines to hundreds of companies across North America through their growing distribution network.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Engine Disassembly Technician is focused on tearing down Ford, Cummins, and Duramax mid-sized truck motors. The successful candidate is driven to be a part of the team that builds the best remanufactured diesel engines available on the market; be a team player; a quick learner; focused on quality, have high production and reliability standards).

Specific Job Tasks:
Assess core returns
Fill out core assessment reports
Wash engines/components with pressure washer and dustless blaster
Disassemble engine assemblies
Qualify blocks, crankshafts, camshafts, oil pans and covers for machining department
Be physically fit and able to lift 80 lbs comfortably
Wash and dry engine components, sorting in proper areas
Reports to Operations Supervisor
Able to use basic hand and air operated tools
Clean, prep and paint covers, tins and engine parts
Sort small parts of engines into appropriate locations
Maintain daily production requirements
Sort scrap metal and parts in appropriate bins
