Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and repairs to support smooth daily operations and maintain a safe working environment.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections of building systems, machinery, and equipment to identify issues before they escalate
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility components
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, or plumbing problems efficiently and safely
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Assist with setup or relocation of equipment as needed for operational needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe to prevent accidents or hazards
Requirements
- Computer Literacy
- Proven experience in general maintenance or facilities management preferred
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and basic carpentry skills is highly desirable
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively and efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual tasks as needed
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures at all times
Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
