Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital is currently welcoming a full time Client Care Coordinator to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated!
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will possess good computer skills, a love of pets and their people, and a positive attitude. Familiarity with cash handling would be considered an asset. Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and In this role, you are integral to our success - you will be the first point of contact for our clients walking through the door and the last point of contact as they leave. Your goal day in and day out will be to enhance the client’s experience at the practice by coordinating between the clients and members of the medical team.
Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively
Scheduling appointments; Admitting and discharging pet patients
Invoicing/billing; creating estimates and processing payments
Take initiative and work independently
A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset
General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, and assist the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
A love for all companion animals!!
Schedule: 24-hour facility, 40 hours per week a mix of daytime, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
Compensation: $17.40 to $25.00 per hour. The hourly rate range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
