JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Outlets Manager, the Grotto Spa Food & Beverage Supervisor is a hands-on leadership role supporting both Food & Beverage and Spa Operations. This position is responsible for leading daily operations while creating exceptional guest experiences through attentive, polished, and personalized service throughout the Grotto Spa Patio, Oasis, and Spa Lounge. The successful candidate will lead by example, coach and support team members, and ensure the elevated service standards of the Grotto Spa are consistently achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead daily operations of the Grotto Spa Patio, Oasis, and Spa Lounge while setting the standard for exceptional guest service.
- Coach, mentor, and support the Food & Beverage team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
- Deliver memorable guest experiences by anticipating needs, resolving concerns, and maintaining the elevated service standards of the Grotto Spa.
- Coordinate with Culinary and Spa teams to ensure seamless daily operations and exceptional service delivery.
- Support team training, onboarding, and ongoing development while leading by example on the floor.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and guest-ready environment, ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, daily shift organization, and operational priorities.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, liquor service, workplace safety, and resort policies while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Serving It Right certification required.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a restaurant, resort, spa, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of serving experience in an upscale hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of food, wine, cocktails, and elevated dining service standards considered an asset.
- Ability to remain calm, organized, and service-focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
