Job duties will include but not limited to:
- Welcoming patients as they arrive- Answering phones once in a while.
- Assist the supervising physiotherapist in performing various components of the treatment plans
- Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by the supervising Physiotherapist including but not limited to gait training, balance exercises, transfer training, the range of motion, strengthening, application of modalities. (i.e. heat, ice, ultrasound, TENS)
- Set up and prepare equipment and clean up after treatment
- Ensure that the gym and treatment areas are safe and tidy
- Maintain regular ongoing communication with the physiotherapist regarding any changes or concerns about a patient's status or treatment interventions
Candidate needs to have a pleasant demeanour, a positive forward-thinking outlook, the willingness and ability to work with others as a team member, great organization and multi-tasking skills and a desire to have a long-term position with our company while growing with us.
