Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Commercial Equipment over long distances to deliver freight.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of Tractor Trailers to ensure Safety and Compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit.
- Ensure the Secure Loading and Unloading of freight as needed.
- Delivering Freight On Time following all of the above requirements.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License or Equivalent (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven 1 Year Experience as a long-haul driver or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to tarp loads, but not mandatory, can be taught by us.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
