About the Role
Garden City Tree & Landscape Ltd. is hiring a Seasonal Landscape Labourer Entry Level) to support crews across all areas of the company. This is a hands-on, labour-focused role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and learning on the job.
You will assist multiple teams across maintenance, softscape, hardscape, and general landscape operations, gaining real experience in all aspects of the industry.
This position is seasonal with strong potential for year-round employment for the right candidate.
What You’ll Be Doing
- General landscape labour including mowing, trimming, weeding, cleanups, and mulching
- Digging, trenching, raking, and site preparation
- Assisting with paver installations and hardscape builds
- Planting trees, shrubs, and other plants
- Moving materials, loading/unloading equipment, and supporting crew operations
- Keeping job sites clean, safe, and organized
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years' experience in landscaping, construction, labour, or similar outdoor work (willing to train)
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow direction
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour (lifting, digging, raking, etc.)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (asset)

Schedule
- Regular Season: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Peak Season (May–September 2026): Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
