Automotive Mechanic
Raven Truck Accessories is an Alberta owned and operated truck accessory retailer with 7 locations across the province. Since 1977, we have supplied and installed aftermarket accessories for truck and Jeep owners.
Our Red Deer store is currently looking for an Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. This role requires someone with strong mechanical experience, good problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities and Experience:
The successful candidate should have experience with:
- Suspension installation
- Brakes, front-end repair, and servicing
- Differential removal, reinstallation, and servicing
- Gear sets, including removal and replacement
- Bolt-on truck and Jeep accessories
- Exhaust system installation
- Tire removal, installation, repair, and service
- Scanner use and electrical diagnostics
- 12-volt wiring
- Basic to complex vehicle maintenance
- Welding
- Working on a variety of vehicle types
- Communicating clearly with customers and the sales team
- Proactively problem-solving and thinking logically
Requirements:
- Must have your own tools
- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s licence
- Must be willing to work on all types of vehicles
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
