Your Opportunity:
Wellington Produce Packaging is currently hiring a Full-Time Permanent Machine Operator to join our manufacturing facility in Mount Forest, Ontario. In this position, you will play a vital role in production by operating machines and performing various support tasks within our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load raw materials into the machines to ensure production runs smoothly
- Safely operate machines as needed
- Move finished product from the machines to the skid
- Wrap fully loaded skids to secure finished product for shipment to customers
- Inspect raw materials and finished goods to ensure high quality standards
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years working in a manufacturing environment
- A team player; the ability to work well as part of a team
- An active listener with strong communication skills
- The ability to stand for long periods of time
- The ability to work in a safe and responsible manner
- A reliable and dependable individual
