Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) one of the world's premier sports and entertainment companies, owns the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), Toronto Raptors (NBA), Toronto FC (MLS), Toronto Argonauts (CFL), Toronto Marlies (AHL), Raptors 905 (NBA D-League), TFC II (USL) and Raptors Uprising Gaming Club, the Toronto Raptors Esports franchise in the NBA 2K League. Its charitable arm, MLSE Foundation, focuses on funding initiatives to support youth through sport and recreational programs. POSITION OVERVIEW

As part of the Sales and Service team, your focus will be on generating new business for MLSE across all brands & properties. Specific focus will be on developing deep client relationships with a product mix including premium memberships, season memberships, suites and live event group packages. The successful candidate must be a proactive, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a high-paced business environment and lives our common purpose to unite and empower employees to create extraordinary moments for fans and each other.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prospect new business through social selling, network-mining, phone calls & live hosting opportunities.
Contribute to a collaborative sales culture that drives results across all properties, including, but not limited to the Toronto Maple Leafs, Raptors, TFC, Argonauts, Premium & Global Partnerships.
Develop prospects for sales through centers of influence, referrals and appointments.
Prepare and execute presentations to prospective clients.
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM to track all inbound and outbound activity while consistently delivering on designated performance metrics
Manage the ticket system including proper ticket administration and balancing of the financial process.
Ensure client and prospect contact with game-day hospitality efforts where applicable.
Meet or exceed Sales and Service Revenue Objectives & Personal Quotas.
Perform other promotional or service functions as required.
REQUIREMENTS

At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales with a consultative, solutions-based approach
Experience prospecting new clients through social selling & phone calls
Post-graduate degree preferred
Understanding of social networks and CRM with an ongoing awareness and responsiveness to client satisfaction
Effective interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
Organized, independent and a natural self-starter
Thrives under pressure and in a high energy environment
A preference for the team approach to selling
Positive attitude with a proven track record in over-delivering on sales targets and goals
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required
Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
