At Weyburn Theatre, operating as Spark Cinema, we’re blending the nostalgia of going to the movies with a modern cinematic experience, and we’re looking for the right leader to bring it to life.
The Role
As General Manager, you’ll lead the theatre from pre-opening through full operations, shaping the experience, building the team, and setting the standard.
You’ll be:
- Leading the opening of a new community landmark
- Building operations, culture, and customer experience from the ground up
- Managing the business, including financials and growth
- Connecting the theatre, the Board, and the community
What You Bring
- Proven leadership experience (hospitality, entertainment, or similar)
- Strong business and financial sense
- Ability to build and lead a team
- A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach
- Passion for community and creating great experiences
