Responsibilities
· Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, and applying primers as needed.
· Mix and match paints, stains, and finishes according to specifications or customer requirements.
· Apply paint using various techniques, including brushes, rollers, and spray guns, ensuring uniform coverage.
· Monitor environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature to ensure proper application and drying times.
· Inspect finished products for quality assurance, checking for defects and imperfections before final assembly.
· Maintain painting equipment and tools by cleaning, troubleshooting, and performing basic repairs as needed.
· Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in painting techniques is a plus.
· Proven experience as a painter in a production setting or related field.
· Strong knowledge of painting materials, finishes, and tools used in the industry.
· Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and technical documents.
· Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
