You will have the opportunity to be apart of the opening team for Live Nation’s newest Canadian venue, History. A state of the art venue, with a capacity of up to 2,500 and the goal of hosting over 200 concerts and events annually, you will play a big role in truly making this venue a Toronto staple. Provide an exclusive premium service experience to members of our VIP areas; serving food and beverages during events delivering an exemplary guest experience
Demonstrate complete understanding of food and beverage offerings and make appropriate recommendations
Utilize Point of Sales systems to adequately process orders and to upsell in real time
Consistently prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications
Perform various opening and closing bartender duties. Ensuring the bar is consistently up to appropriate standards for flawless execution
Recognize when guests are becoming too intoxicated and refuse further service of alcohol in a courteous and safety-minded manner, bringing it to the attention of a manager and security
Create an atmosphere where coworkers are connected and committed through seamless communication and the willingness to help others win
Must be Smart Serve Certified and atleast 19 years of age or older
Minimum of 3 years experience bartending in a premium, fast-paced environment. Those with previous bottle service & casual fine dining experience an asset
Knowledge of various spirits, beers, wines and champagnes
Experience using point of sales systems; Appetize an asset, but not required
You understand the art of upselling and enjoy meeting daily sales incentives
Experience requesting ID’s for anyone whom looks under the legal drinking age and recognizing validity
Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
Ability to learn and execute cocktail menu with ease and to detailed specifications
Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
Liases with F&B management team on par levels and various other food and beverage needs
Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries
You’ve found the balance of being respectful and professional whilst being fun and jovial in a work environment
A passion for live events and desire to ensure every customer experience is exceptional!
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Sits for extended periods of time at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
