About Us
Allan Pitchko Galleries & Antiques specializes in unique antiques, collectibles, vintage items, artwork, and historical pieces. We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team on a part-time basis.
Position Summary
The Sales Associate will assist customers in finding and purchasing antiques and collectibles while providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be comfortable interacting with customers, answering questions, handling phone inquiries, and maintaining a welcoming shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist customers with antique and collectible purchases.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, and availability.
- Operate point-of-sale systems and process transactions.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and accurately.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the showroom.
- Assist with displaying and merchandising inventory.
- Help monitor inventory and report low stock or display needs.
- Support general day-to-day operations of the gallery and antique store.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with clear and fluent English required.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable personality.
- Previous retail, sales, customer service, or antique-related experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Basic computer and cash handling skills.
- Interest in antiques, collectibles, art, or history is an asset.
