Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking applications for Journeyman or Apprentice Pipefitters for work in beautiful Victoria B.C. You must be a resident of Vancouver Island or area as there is no travel allowance or living out allowance provided. We offer two shifts: 10 days on and 4 days off or 5 days on and 2 days off.

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Process piping and equipment installations
Threading, Cutting, Grooving, Bending, Measuring of piping
Working with plans and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
Hydro static testing of installed piping systems
Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site

Desired Skills and Experience:
Experience working in treatment facilities and maintenance
Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions

Must have the following:
To be considered for this position you must be a registered Apprentice or Journeyman in the trade of Steamfitter-Pipefitter
Valid Driver's License (not GDL)
WHMIS 2015

All candidates must be able to produce a negative result on a drug & alcohol test.

Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the area as no living out or travel allowance are offered at this time.
