We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Civil Construction Labourers to join our team in Edmonton, AB. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves physical labor, operating machinery, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, setting up temporary structures, and laying out project plans.
- Perform excavation and earthmoving activities, including digging trenches and grading.
- Participate in construction activities, including grading, shoveling, compacting, and any other activities set out by the supervisor.
- Operate and maintain small construction equipment.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
- Ahere to all workplace safety policies, practices, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Construction Labourer or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing site environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods.
