Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Door to Door Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential customers directly in their neighborhoods to promote and sell our window cleaning services for our technicians (you will be ONLY selling not cleaning). The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to build rapport quickly. This job is PRIMARILY commission based, meaning your pay is solely a reflection of how hard you work and how many sales you get. The rate is 25% commission per sale. And the average window cleaning job is $250. Training is fully provided although if you have previous door-to-door sales experience that would be outstanding. Our sales reps typically sell 4-5 homes a day, averaging around $260 a day. That being said, this is a simple job, but it is definitely NOT easy you will have some days where you go and feel very discouraged mentally from getting lots of ”not interesteds” that’s why I’m looking for individuals who are not only trainable, but strong mentally and are willing to stick through it even through the hard times. And people who understand that a lot of “not interested” and door slams are a part of the game. Duties
- You’ll be given an area to go door-to-door to sell
- Overcome all objections and not taking “no” as an answer. Not being pushy, but being pleasantly persuasive.
- Negotiate terms and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM tools such as SalesRabbit to track leads, follow-ups, and sales progress.
- Giving the customer a quote as well as closing them on the door for the sale.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct courteous interactions at all times.
- Making sure the customer has heard when at the door communicating with them. If there is an objection, acknowledge it and overcome it. That being said you will be trained on this.
- Qualifications
- Preferably previous d2d sales experience, but not necessarily needed.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills while keeping the tension chill and calm between you and the customer
- Must be a sociable person with a smile on your face at the door
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle rejection positively.
- Be aware of the customers hesitation to a stranger at the door sometimes, but swiftly making a friendly and chill interaction between you two
