Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of vehicles and machinery. The position involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical expertise
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Operate industrial equipment safely and efficiently during repairs or maintenance tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized machinery to complete repairs
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams for complex systems
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs on vehicle electrical systems
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency
- Proven mechanic experience with automotive repair;
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics interpretation
- Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and farm machinery is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on vehicles or equipment at various heights or positions
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in diagnostics for complex mechanical or electrical issues
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
