Westburne is the Canadian market leader in electrical distribution. We are looking for a bold and charismatic Associate, based in Regina/Winnipeg to work closely with our National Accounts team to service and grow some of the largest customer accounts in Canada. What you should expect:
- Manage multiple accounts and develop positive working relationships with all customer touch points, ensuring they gain unmatched value from Westburne’s solutions and products
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Promote ecommerce and multi-channel strategies and capabilities with key accounts and customer stakeholders
- Assist in the management of the client price book
- Manage cost savings for the client
- Perform market analysis and identify high potential markets, trends, and opportunities
- Develop, manage, and monitor annual business plan to be reviewed with management
- Engage with account managers and conduct joint calls to existing and prospective clients
- Prepare and formally present business performance reviews to national clients
- Conduct semi-annual meetings with key suppliers and verticals to develop action plans specific to market or clients
- Support agreement renewals and negotiations where required with client’s procurement, legal, and risk team
- Manage the coordination and delivery of large industrial projects
Experience/Qualifications
A successful candidate will be an approachable, even-tempered, self-starter, and problem-solver with the ability to form lasting relationships. You should have:
- 5+ years of Account Management experience with a proven track record of success
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, manage teams, and communicate effectively virtually, verbally and written
- Experience in project management
- Excellent communication skills including listening, negotiation, public speaking, and virtual presenting
- Excellent computer skills including high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Even mannered and able to organize and manage time under stress
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining attention to detail
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
