Are you a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We're seeking an energetic Shift Leader at McDonald's located in Owen Sound, Ontario, to oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure a smooth, efficient, and welcoming guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate People, Equipment, and Product to deliver outstanding Quality, Service, and Cleanliness and drive sales
- Lead and energize your team by setting and rewarding shift targets
- Complete pre-shift checklists and monitor guest flow, making adjustments as needed
- Handle guest concerns through the guest recovery process, escalating serious issues to the GM
- Ensure food safety, security, and cleanliness standards are met at all times
- Support Department/General Managers through regular communication and coaching
- Coach and develop crew with on-floor feedback
- Ensure proper staffing, labour law compliance, and uniform/appearance standards
- Execute sales and marketing promotions effectively
Qualifications
- McDonald's experience preferred; any QSR/restaurant experience relevant
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a passion for guest experience
- Note: this is a 100% on-floor, hands-on working position
- Must complete (or be working toward) required leadership, food safety, and first aid certifications through McDonald's training program
Pay: $20.05 per hour
