Position Summary:
Provide maintenance and repair services for our fleet and customer units, specializing in inboard/outboard motors and Sea-Doo watercraft, ensuring reliable performance and safety across all equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on boats, personal watercraft, and trailers
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform seasonal winterization, shrink-wrapping, and closing procedures for boats and watercraft
- Keep accurate maintenance and service logs
- Assist with pre-rental inspections and preparation of vessels
- Collaborate with management to minimize equipment downtime
Qualifications:
- Certification or equivalent experience in marine mechanics
- Skilled in working with inboard and outboard motors and Sea-Doo products
- Experience servicing boats and personal watercraft (PWC)
- Valid boat operator licence and Ontario driver’s licence required
- Basic First Aid certification preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with marine electrical systems and basic diagnostic tools
- Ability to lift and move marine equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in outdoor conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Weekend and holiday availability
