Academic Part-time Position
The School of Health & Life Sciences is seeking qualified professionals to teach theory and lab courses part-time in our Nursing and affiliated programs for the fall (September to December) and/or winter (January to April) terms. We welcome applications from qualified professionals with expertise in the health sciences, including Registered Nurses with healthcare experience, as well as individuals with backgrounds in biological sciences, biochemistry, and related disciplines. Candidates should have experience teaching, mentoring, or supporting student learning and demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following subject areas:
- Human Anatomy and Physiology
- Human Biology and Biochemistry
Successful candidates will be required to conduct work within Ontario and must be available to work on-site at Conestoga’s Doon campus, located at 299 Doon Valley Drive. Conestoga offers classes Monday to Sunday from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Courses are primarily delivered in person in accordance with our academic calendar. Part-time Professors typically teach one to two courses. Courses are approximately three to six hours per week in the classroom for a 14-week term.
