There is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company redefining enterprise energy management through intelligent, data-driven solutions. You’ll work at the heart of a sophisticated technology platform, engineering high-performance backend systems, modernizing distributed architectures, building cloud-native solutions, and solving complex engineering challenges using Python and Golang. Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop high-performance backend services using Python and Golang.
- Drive the design, modernization, and ongoing evolution of microservices-based architectures, including event-driven integrations and distributed system patterns.
- Establish and enhance CI/CD and DevOps automation, enabling dependable testing, release management, infrastructure provisioning, and production deployments.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews and engineering guidance.
- Work closely with data science, machine learning, and IoT engineering capabilities.
- Engineer cloud-native environments leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms.
- Translate product and business requirements into well-defined user stories, technical specifications, APIs, test strategies, and implementation approaches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of SDLC experience, with 5+ years focused on backend systems using Golang and/or Python.
- Demonstrated expertise designing, deploying, and supporting microservices and distributed production systems.
- Proven ability to design and manage RESTful APIs, integrations, and data-intensive backend services.
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture and DevOps practices.
- Leadership experience and capability of managing structured code-review processes.
- Strong database and data-platform experience encompassing PostgreSQL and time-series technologies (InfluxDB).
- Familiarity with data science, machine learning, or AI-enabled applications is considered an asset.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities, with experience operating in Agile engineering environments.
- A formal engineering or related technical background is preferred.

Pay: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
