Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment to ensure smooth restaurant operations. This role is essential in supporting food service and hospitality functions, contributing to a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
- Ensure all dishes and kitchenware are stored properly after cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout the shift
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organized environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold sanitation standards
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in compliance with facility policies
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure timely service delivery
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with food handling, basic food preparation, or cooking is a plus
- Hospitality or serving experience can be beneficial for understanding guest service expectations
