Job Summary
We are seeking reliable, hard‑working Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, loading/unloading shipments, and operating equipment like forklifts. Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment are musts.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Material Handling & Trailer Operations
- Offload incoming trailers and containers and sort items as required.
- Reload trailers for outbound shipments, ensuring loads are secure.
- Strap and unstrap loads to ensure safe transport and compliance with company standards.
- Swing trailers as directed to optimize workflow and trailer placement.
2. Warehouse & Yard Maintenance
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse interior, including storage racks, pallets, and work areas.
- Keep the warehouse yard and compound clean, safe, and free of hazards.
- Restack pallets and put away materials in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory organization and ensure proper storage of all goods.
Performance Expectations
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while performing duties.
- Use equipment and tools safely, including pallet jacks, straps, and other warehouse tools.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged goods, or incidents to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient working environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience is a must.
- Ability to lift/carry 50‑75 lbs safely.
- Comfortable standing, bending, and walking for long periods.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Basic math skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team.
