- Operate warehouse machinery (Ride-along Walkie, Reach Truck and Counterbalance)
- Warehouse functions include: Picking, Receiving, Loading, Replenishment, etc.
- Perform physical job demands outlined in ergonomic training
- Following quality standards outlined in Food Quality training program
- Ensure proper rotation of date code requirements
- Safety first approach for all tasks including reporting damaged machinery and equipment
- Working in a temperature-controlled environment with company provided personal protective equipment and refrigerated gear
- Monitor and report inventory losses
- Paid training for all job tasks and requirements
- Additional duties as assigned for all classifications covered in the CBA
Salary:
Starting rate of $22.00/hour during probation, with tiered hourly increases based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Shifts:
- Guaranteed full time position with 40 hours a week
- Position will have a default start times; however this position is intended to cover the following: vacation, short term and planned absence
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate a walkie or reach truck is an asset
- Physical ability to lift up-to 50 pounds
- Basic ability to communicate in English
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset
- Must have clear criminal record
