Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that stimulate curiosity and support early learning milestones
- Foster a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore their interests
- Engage children in educational activities that promote language development, motor skills, social interaction, and creativity
- Monitor individual progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians regularly
- Support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or special requirements, ensuring inclusive participation
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities, share best practices, and enhance program quality
Qualifications
A NL Level Licence for Early Childhood Education.
A Criminal and Vulnerable Police Checks.
A Valid First Aid Certificate.
- Proven experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and development stages.
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective behavior management and instructional skills
- Excellent communication skills to engage children, families, and team members effectively
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is required.
- Ability to be patient, energetic, adaptable, and attentive to each child's unique needs
