Join our dynamic automotive team as an Automotive Service Advisor/Technician, where your mechanical expertise and customer service skills will drive exceptional service experiences. In this role, you'll be the vital link between our customers and the repair shop, ensuring vehicle issues are accurately diagnosed, efficiently repaired, and that customers leave satisfied and confident in our services. Your hands-on mechanical knowledge combined with sales acumen will help maximize shop productivity while delivering top-tier support to every driver who walks through our doors.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle issues to facilitate effective repairs.
- Perform mechanical inspections and diagnostics to identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Provide clear explanations of repair options, costs, and timelines to customers, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on vehicle needs, enhancing customer satisfaction and shop revenue.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and ensure timely completion of all work orders.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments securely while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Maintain detailed records of service history, work performed, and customer interactions for future reference.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or background in automotive repair as a Technician or service advisor.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and repair procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience in sales and upselling services to enhance customer value.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Familiarity with automotive repair software and dealership operations is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ASE certifications are a plus.

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
